PostSubject: Why This Forum?   Wed May 22, 2013 3:13 pm

I know there are a few menier's/vertigo groups on the web. They are good groups. Lotts of useful info. I'm a member of one or two of them myself. The reason for THIS forum is because i have used it before for other groups. The registration is simple and the posts are easy to follow. It is because of the ease of use and the way it's set up that i thought it would be great to use for a group.
It's also easy to set up-and if anyone had any suggestions for improvement knew we could do that here. I also want to note-and this is very important-anything that's posted here does not preclude what your family doctor or specialist tells YOU. I'm not a nurse much less a dr. If you think you might have meniere's or vertigo PLS see your family doctor and get a clear diagnosis. We can post the symptoms but we can't diagnose. They could be caused by a range of diseases, disorders or health problems. You can certainly consider the possibility from what you read here but go as quickly as possible to find out what IS causing YOUR symptoms. If you have been diagnosed that's what we're here for. To offer support and to help you get through the EMOTIONAL factors in dealing with Meniere's. Even for your family members.

If there's anything we can do to change the forum to make it easier for you,pls let us know!
I know personally how difficult it can be to use a computer with meniere's. Some days are good, others not so good and there may be something here causing YOU visual discomfort. Just holler! i understand.
It's not a problem to fix at all. Meanwhile introduce yourself and begin a conversation. You have a shoulder here to lean on and an ear to listen to you.
